CSW's press profiling service is based on the ICC standard, and supported by leading-edge software. We measure and analyze variables of a particular press environment, including substrate, ink system, print order, and press configuration, using an automated spectral chart reader for fast and precise data acquisition. Spectral color-analysis is an effective diagnostic tool to evaluate different ink packages, possibly increasing the the total range (gamut) of colors reproducible on a given press. Reliable press profiling has become increasingly critical in any packaging project and allows for faster, more predictable and higher quality results.
